Even in winter an isolated patch of snow has a special quality.

I wish outside was bleached, but unfortunately, snow is a rarity in the Deep South.

But, at the very least, I am back to complain about all the little things that bother me in my life.  That's all my blog seems to be good for, anyway, since I'm not particularly fond of talking about my problems.  Other people's problems?  Bring it on.  Mine?  No, thanks.  I'll just type up an angry rant and put it on my blog.  :)

My first topic of complaint: my pinkie finger.  About three weeks ago, I dropped a bowl - a bowl, really?  Not even anything cool, like a knife fight, or a barbed wire fence escape? - and sliced open my poor, delicate finger.  Apparently bowls can do more damage than we all think, because I needed five stitches.  Five!  Not just like, one or two, no, I needed five.  Then, after keeping them in for ten days, since they're supposed to stay for ten to fourteen, I went to get them removed.  Nope, nothing doing.  They weren't "ready" to be taken out yet.  The next day, the clinic I was told to come back to was closed, so I ended up taking them out myself.  I'd post a picture, but my poor, now un-stitched pinkie is, unfortunately, not very attractive.  It's healing, though, and I would like to say that someday soon, I might be able to have full use of my pinkie finger in regards to typing.

It's strange to have to adapt to typing without a pinkie, but I'm pretty sure it's going to be even harder to revert back to using it again.  I've gotten so used to typing without it, since I type a ridiculous amount every day.  My right ring finger has gotten such a workout lately.  It's crazy.

Anyway.  My second topic of complaint is going to be the weather.  I gotta keep things simple while I get back in the hang of writing a blog, right?  Some moron in our building just set off the fire alarm.  There were at least two shirtless guys - really?  It's not that early; put some clothes on, it's cold - and it's cold and wet and rainy outside.  If it's going to be cold, it should snow.  That is the only kind of precipitation I can accept in cold weather.  As it is, my umbrella is broken from the storm we had last week, so I am without anything to keep me dry and relatively warm.  It's not fun.

Third.  I'm running out of movies to watch, and I'm running out of fun things to do.  I really need to invest in this movie collection.  As it is, I'm stuck watching The Road to Eldorado on youtube.  Not that I'm complaining; Disney is practically my best friend.  Forever.

There are other things I would like to complain about, but this is the internet, so I'm not sure I want to.  So, for now, I'm just going to go straight into a shameless plug.  Sorry, the shameless plug has been removed to prevent anyone from finding me.  I want my blog to stay private, thank you.

But that's all for right now.  I have some research about the Aztecs to do.

PEACE.
